Group, Team Building and Corporate
Events

Give your group an amazing experience they will never forget.

One or two day packages.

Inspire, motivate and engage your group or organisation with a fun and informal
session building a real dry stone wall in a stunning countryside setting.
Get out in the fresh air, be next to nature, and restore an important feature that
defines the British landscape.
Ideally located in the beautiful valley of Diggle, our venue has pristine toilets in the
main farmhouse, ample hard standing car parking, and shelter in the barn, all
within yards of the dry stone walls.
Included is a delicious locally sourced lunch and all refreshments throughout the
day, served in the barn.
Just 25 mins from Manchester and Leeds by train, we can also help with mini bus
transport, accommodation and evening entertainment.
Connecting with nature on this unique outdoor activity helps to promote
mindfulness, concentration, acceptance, mental wellbeing, teamwork and
happiness.
Delivered by highly qualified craftspeople and instructors, these events are
bespoke and carefully designed to suit your requirements and objectives. They are
open to all abilities and ages, and involve the rebuilding of a dilapidated dry stone
wall. Participants will learn the basic principles of how to strip out, prepare and
restore a traditional dry stone wall to its former glory, a truly exhilarating, tangible
and rewarding experience.
Stand back at the end of the session, invigorated, and admire your teams
achievement, a dry stone wall that will last for hundreds of years! Join us
afterwards in our traditional village pub, a few yards down the lane, for a
celebratory drink.
We offer a range of tailor-made one or two day packages that will help you and
your colleagues get to know each other better, leaving you energised and inspired.
A great way to improve communication, inclusivity, build trust and boost morale.
With everyone working together towards a common goal, and plenty of humour
thrown in, we can guarantee a "feel good" factor for your group.
Perhaps most importantly there is a real end result, that remains, a legacy, a
beautiful dry stone wall!
The village of Uppermill (5 mins drive), has cafes, restaurants, wine bars, pubs,
craft shops, boutiques, beauty and hair salons.
