Location / Directions
There will be signs and banners at the entrance to our venue.

The address is:
Marsh Head Farm, Diggle, Saddleworth OL3 5LB.
When nearing the venue go over the railway bridge and go past the Diggle Hotel pub on your left, follow the narrow road through the hamlet of old buildings, continue on along a single track road as countryside opens up, the farm is on your right, take the third entrance on your right into the parking area marked with banners.

Time 9.00am to 4.00pm each day

There are pristine indoor toilets with hot water, ample hard standing parking, and refreshments and shelter in the barn.

Clothing and PPE
The weather can be changeable and our countryside locations are exposed.
You need to bring:
A waterproof hooded jacket, waterproof over trousers and warm clothing.
Lots of layers as you will soon warm up on colder days! (and cool down when we take a break).
Sun block and a sun hat for all times of the year.
Steel toe cap boots or strong hiking boots with ankle protection.
Durable work wear.
Gloves: we recommend two types of gloves, the blue knitted wrist nitra style or the rubber coated builders gloves, please see photographs below.
Safety glasses or goggles for some or all of this activity are recommended.

Refreshments and Lunch
Complimentary locally sourced lunch and refreshments are included on both days as well as tea, coffee, fruit and cakes. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available. We provide bottled water however it would be appreciated if you could bring your own water bottle to reduce single use plastic.

Allergy advice, food intolerances & dietary requirements:
Please advise of dietary requirements such as vegetarian or vegan.
Whilst we take great when preparing vegetarian and vegan meals, we must advise that these meals are handled in a multi-ingredient kitchen environment. We cannot guarantee all of our meals are GM free. All dishes are prepared in an environment that may NOT be free from nuts, seeds, wheat, dairy, fish, gluten or lactose, therefore all dishes may contain traces of these and other allergens.

Health and Safety
Serious injuries in walling are rare, but care is needed when handling and working with stone to avoid back, hand, foot and eye injuries. Your instructor will give safety instruction and guidance.
Instructors are first aid trained and carry a first aid kit.
Courses are open to all age groups and abilities inclusively.
We have public liability insurance to cover course participants.
Under 18's must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Participants need to inform us of any significant medical issues in advance or discuss with the instructor prior to the course.
You will be asked to provide emergency contact details upon arrival.

Other Information
As our venue is on working farmland we politely request that you do not bring pets. However guide, support and assistance dogs are permitted.
You will be taught by DSWA accredited instructors who are full time experienced wallers.
All equipment and tools will be provided.

Cancellation and Postponement Policy
Cancellations up to 14 days prior to the course are eligible for a refund, and we can also work with you to book an alternative date subject to availability.
Should a course be cancelled or postponed for reasons beyond our control, such as extreme weather or other unusual circumstances we will look to re-book you on an alternative date, or offer a refund.

If severe weather is forecast then please contact us prior to travelling.
